GCEC believes that the students should be given an opportunity to explore activities and various interest areas apart from their regular classes and studies.
Hence, the college offers a choice of choosing various student-driven clubs during their journey of undergraduate study. One such club at GCEC is Photography Club also known as Anokhi Aankhein.
Anokhi Aankhein, organizes various workshops with photography tips and tricks along with scenic trips. This time the club organized a trip to a famous trek in Jaipur “Bhuteshwar Mahadev Trek”, Located in Aravali near Jaipur. Bhuteshwar Nath Mahadev Temple is one of the most ancient temples in Jaipur. The route to this temple features green trails across the Aravali ranges making it one of the most beautiful and pleasurable treks in Jaipur. A trek that is worth remembering, the group gathered together at the Nahargarh Biological Park at 5:30 AM on March 13th, 2022. After 4-5 km of riding from a slushy climb along a village trek, the group reached the starting point of the trek called “Mahadev Mandir ” where the group expanded to a number of 25-30 students, the sky was clear and the mood was upbeat as we begin the trek.
It was a moderate climb of 5 km and the weather got better as the day progressed. With music, conversations, and a little karaoke the group reached the destination of this well-known trek. It was all beautiful, mountains everywhere. It was a great experience to arrive in time to witness a glorious sunrise and experience the stunning morning views of the surrounding.
